Thanks to Keetsa for this awesome idea about how to recycle old jeans. I personally where jeans at least 5 days a week and before the wife came along I was even known to sleep in them occasionally. There’s nothing I love most about covering green issues than finding somebody who has found a new use for common everyday products. I mean jeans as insulation! What a great idea!
We all know that our walls are filled with insulation that contain zero in the way of eco-friendly materials. Now there are people out there who are shredding their jeans and using them to keep their house insulated. Apparently denim is great for holding in heat and often better than some consumer brand insulators and it’s more soundproof.
