This is the first day of the New Year, which means many of us had or went to a party tonight. It also means many of us are taking down a Christmas tree today.
After the parties: Dump all the garbage and trash in a big Repellem trash bag and toss it outside until later. You don’t have to worry about animals getting into it and scattering it; Ecosmartplastics Repellem products live up to their name: they really do REPEL animals and insects. For the Christmas tree: If you did like many people and used an extra-large Repellem bag under your tree skirt, disposing of your tree will be a cinch! Just take off all the ornaments and trim, pull off the skirt, and draw the Repellem bag up around the tree, keeping the needles INSIDE the bag. No mess, no fuss, and the Repellem bag is strong enough to deal with a tree inside it! Pick up your tree, arms around the Repellem bag, and toss it outside. Messy job, finished in minutes with NO mess!
Sleep in this morning, and don’t worry about your garbage bags sitting outside: if you used Ecosmartplastics Repellem bags, nothing will touch them. And aren’t you glad it was so easy to get your tree out of the living room, with no mess?
EcoSmart’s Repellem products have so many uses; it boggles the mind!
Why not make using only eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable, 100% natural Ecosmartplastics Repellem & Eco-smartbag products one of your resolutions for 2010!

The EcoSmart Repellem Blog Contest ended Saturday at midnight, and many thanks to those who entered!
We randomly drew three names “out of a hat” and here they are:
1st prize:$250.00 in merchandise, plus $50.00 more for posting a link on her own blog: akaMonty .
Since my daughter read “The Lorax”, she has been concerned with pollution, ecosystems, the environment and what sort of footprint we’re leaving.
She’s far more aware than *I* ever was, and she is responsible for my family’s conversion to “going green”. I love that many of my favorite brands are now more enviro-friendly! And now biodegradable trashbags? How awesome is that? I can’t imagine why anyone would NOT use these – it’s such a small, easy thing to do that can make such a HUGE impact. My family creates a lot of garbage even with recycling, and I appreciate EcoSmartPlastics for giving us the opportunity to be able to do our part in keepin’ it green.
Thank you, akaMonty, for your comment, for your link, and for your interest in EcoSmart Repellem products.
Biodegradable bags that keep animals & bugs away, and products that keep the bugs from the garden? Count me in!
Our thanks to Fausta for her comment and for her interest in EcoSmart Repellem products.
3rd prize: $50.00 in merchandise: Aspen
I come from the generation that grew up watching Captain Planet and wearing “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!” buttons. The pine tree I planted on Arbor Day when I was 8 years old stands tall and proud in my parents front yard 19 years later. After growing up respecting nature and learning how our actions will have a huge impact on our children’s future, I try my hardest to be a conscientious consumer and make my family’s footprint smaller. We walked the aisles at Sam’s club tonight and I thought about the giant stacks of styrofoam containers and imagined them wasting away in a landfill. If everyone were able to use products like EcoSmartPlastics, we would take a huge leap towards lessening our impact on our earth and more importantly, our children’s earth! I hadn’t heard about this company until just before I began this comment, and I plan on purchasing their products whether or not I win!
Many thanks to Aspen for entering the EcoSmart Repellem contest!
Janice and Susan, of 5 Minutes For Mom, will get $50.00 in merchandise for linking to our contest, and so will Sherry of We Are Family. Thank you both so very much for linking to us!.
All winners have been notified, and more details about how to collect their winnings will be emailed to them within the next few days.
We here at EcoSmart Repellem wish to thank everyone who commented and entered our contest. We’ll be starting another contest soon, so WATCH THIS BLOG!
In the meantime, let’s all try to be as CLEAN and GREEN as possible, and keep our homes SAFE and INSECT-FREE, with EcoSmart Repellem trash bags and other fine products.
(If you linked to our contest on your own blog, and I didn’t mention you here, please email me!)
Every little thing we do to help save the earth and be environmentally sound helps, you know. As I look at my green EcoSmart trash bags, 100% biodegradable, I know that I’m helping. A trash bag might not seem like a big deal, but multiply it by billions of trash bags every year and you will think differently!
When I say that my EcoSmart trash bags are green, I mean that in two ways: the bags are green, and the bags are environmentally friendly. EcoSmart trash bags are also thick and heavy and EXCELLENT; EcoSmart Plastics products are quality products.
My green EcoSmart bags and my red Repellem bags are the BEST TRASH BAGS I’ve ever encountered. I used to buy Glad or Hefty or store brands, whatever was on sale, but now? I would not have any other kind of trash bag in my house. I’m not only helping to SAVE THE EARTH: I’m keeping my home clean, green, and free of insects and vermin. My family is safer with EcoSmart Repellem products.
EcoSmart Repellem’s Blog Contest is still going on; you’ve got until Valentine’s Day, February 14, to sign up. To sign up, simply comment on the post about EcoSmartPlastics: Repellem wants to know why you would love to buy -and use every day – the only truly 100% biodegradeable plastics products on the planet: the unscented Eco-smartbags and the scented pest-repelling Repellem trash bags. We want to know how you feel about “being green,” and how you believe EcoSmartPlastics products can help you do that. We want to know your opinion of the clean, green safety that our products can help you achieve in your home. We want to know how you feel about you and your children living healthier and safer lives in a home that uses EcoSmartPlastics. Comment on these things right here on this Repellem post.
We’re buried in snow, here in southern Indiana, and my next-door neighbor finally managed to break a path to my door. I figured that she was going to ask to borrow milk, or bread, since she has two small daughters and hasn’t been able to get out of her driveway for a week now. But no, she didn’t need food.
With all the snow outside, the mice are running for warmth and cover, and her house had been infiltrated! She wanted to know if I had a couple of Repellem trash bags she could borrow. I did, and she trudged back through the snow to her house. Once she puts those Repellem bags in her kitchen, the mice will all leave.
I haven’t noticed a single mouse in my house since the day I first started using Repellem trash bags. No mice, no ants, no roaches, no flies, no fleas on the cats, no waterbugs, no weevils in the flour. . . . I’m telling you, EcoSmart Repellem products REALLY WORK!
So. Enter the Repellem contest. Keep your home cleaner and safer and greener with EcoSmart Repellem products.
I’m not eligible to enter, but if I won, I’d probably take my prize money out on the Repellem trash bags. I absolutely love them; they keep my house free of insects and mice – completely – and that includes clothes moths and those nasty weevils that get in flour and dry foods. My cats have never had a single flea, either.
Then again, I do love those Repellem tableclothes; with one of those on my patio table, we can sit out there as long as we want, and not a single fly, gnat, or mosquito will come near. The lightning bugs don’t seem to be affected, but that’s a GOOD thing! I love fireflies.
My sister, on the other hand, says she would use her winnings to get a lot of Dog Poop Bags. I have to giggle at that word, but she says Repellem dog poop bags are the best in the universe, and after she scoops up the poop and puts it in those Repellem bags, she can’t smell it at ALL.
I used to buy trash bags at WalMart, or K-Mart, or Target, and I bought whatever was on sale. I had no brand loyalty at all.
For a little over a year, however, I haven’t purchased any trash bags at a store at ALL. On sale, or not, I don’t care. There is no trash bag sold at these stores that I want. Not any more.
In my home, we use EcoSmart Repellem products. Repellem is the only trash bag I will ever use, now that I know and understand their superiority.
Back when I used Hefty, or Glad, or some other brand of trash bag, I thought the only use for a trash bag was for, well, trash. Even with just that one use, those brands of trash bags could never withstand raccoons, or possums, or even the family pets. No matter how tightly tied up these trash bags might be, animals could smell what was inside, and could easily claw through them and scatter the garbage all over the yard. I hated that.
Now, with Repellem trash bags, not only are the animals unable to smell or sense the trash, but the Repellem bags are much stronger and thicker than Glad or Hefty bags. There really is no comparison at all; Repellem is far superior to any other brand.
Besides being great for trash, though, Repellem products can be used in many other ways as well. Remember: Repellem products not only repel animals; they also repel insects! Since I started using Repellem, there have been no mice, or moths, or cockroaches, or gnats, or weevils in my house. I live out in the country, so this is not a minor thing; I’ve used a LOT of different products to try to keep these things away, but nothing ever worked as well as Repellem products.
Some say it’s not easy being green, but I disagree. If you know what products to buy, it’s VERY easy being green! Most plastic products, such as trash bags, that SAY they’re biodegradable, actually. . . aren’t. They’re somewhat biodegradable, or they’re mostly biodegradable, but the fact is, there is only one brand of trash bag that is 100% biodegradable, and that brand is EcoSmart Plastics.
EcoSmart Plastics’ Repellem products are absolutely and 100% Earth-friendly, and will help you maintain a cleaner, greener home.
Repellem products are also 100% safe; your children will not be harmed by any Repellem product, because they are made of 100% natural ingredients. There are no harmful chemicals or poisons in any Repellem product.
EcoSmart Plastics products biodegrade quickly and completely, leaving no “pieces” behind. Nor do they require oxygen to decompose, as all other trash bags and plastics products do.
When you put EcoSmart’s Repellem products in your home, you are helping the Earth, saving money, and keeping your family safe. Who could ask for more from a trash bag?
Don’t forget the Repellem Contest! It’s still going on, and you’ve got until Valentine’s Day to enter!
You know, as I glanced out my patio doors at my trash bags which were waiting to be taken to the landfill, I realized that the Repellem bags are red, and the EcoSmart bags are green. The sight made me think of Christmas. Together, they represent the very best that a clean, green home can be.
Both bags are made of 100% natural ingredients, and both bags are completely biodegradable. Both bags keep your home safe from insects and vermin, and neither bag, powerful as they are, is a safety threat to your children. In fact, your children are SAFER in a home that uses EcoSmart and Repellem products.
