All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

Thanksgiving is in just a few weeks, in case any of you aren’t paying attention to the calendar.  In just a few weeks, families will be gathering and feasting, and disposing of more goopy food waste in one day than all of them combined accumulate in a week.

Dogs, cats, raccoons, and possums everywhere are licking their lips in anticipation.

People who use regular trash bags to hold that turkey carcass and all the greasy leftovers won’t be able to Repellem trash bags are redput out their trash until right before the garbage truck arrives, a few days after Thanksgiving.  In the meantime, that flimsy plastic bag of heavy, oily leftovers will have to stay in the kitchen or garage, slowly leaking and smelling like, well, gross day-old meat.  Unrefrigerated.

People who use Ecosmart Repellem trash bags won’t have any problem at all.  Repellem trash bats are thick and heavy, and nothing you put on the inside will leak through to the outside.

When those regular trash bags go out on the curb, every animal in the vicinity will know it, and they’re already making plans to use your yard as a buffet.

Those same animals won’t even know it when you put a Repellem trash bag out on the curb.  The 100% natural ingredients in Repellem products render those bags invisible to all animals and insects.  The neighborhood dogs will walk right past your decaying feast-in-side-the-bag; no odors or substances can penetrate the thick, heavy, substantial Repellem bags.

I suppose it’s odd to discuss trash bags at holiday time, but hey.  Holiday time is when we have the yuckiest, heaviest, greasiest garbage, and knowing that your Repellem bag can “take it” is a great relief.

If you’ve been looking for some Ecosmart Repellem products, here are a few places you’ll definitely find them!

The Eco-Shop is a source for Ecosmart Repellem products.

You can find Ecosmart Repellem products at The Vitamin Shoppe, too!

There’s a CVS Pharmacy on almost every corner in town; you’re in there all the time, so why not pick up some EcosmartPlastics SmartBags while you’re there?

While you’re looking for music and movies on Amazon, order some EcosmartPlastics products as well!

It might be autumn now, but the weather is still perfect for a cookout!  Make sure your picnic table is insect-free with an EcosmartPlastics Repellem tablecloth!  HomeTrends is a great place to get your Repellem tablecloth!

You can get EcosmartPlastics products at BluePod, too.

And now I’ll tell you a secret:  I get my EcosmartPlastics and Repellem products at Alice.com.  It’s so easy, because that’s where I get most of my other households products.

Make your home greener, cleaner, and safer with EcosmartPlastics, Repellem, and SmartBags products.  Our products will make your home a better environment in which to live and to raise your children.

We’re painting this month – every room in the house except one.  Here in southern Indiana, we’ve been under a Heat Advisory almost every day, and lately the high-nineties temps have been accompanied by severe humidity alerts as well.

There is no air conditioning in the house we’re painting, so all the windows are open and fans are running.  The problem with opening windows, especially when there are no screens, is that the insects consider that an open invitation to enter.

This summer’s severe heat and humidity have been good news for bugs.  In the evenings, we can hear huge swarms buzzing and humming and making whatever insect noises insects make.  If we go outside for even a few minutes, we’re covered by masses of mosquitoes; the bites are incredible!

When we first started painting, we were getting bugs in the paint on the walls.  I really don’t want to move into a house with insects embedded in the paint, so we didn’t know what to do at first.

Then I thought, if Ecosmart Plastics & Repellem products do such a good job under normal circumstances, would they also work for this not-quite-so-normal circumstance?

So I brought some Repellem trash bags to the new house and put a strip of one across each window.  That was Saturday.  Today is Monday, and there are no bugs in the house now.

I’m serious.  Wide open, screenless windows, wet paint, and no bugs.

I recommend this procedure highly!

DSCF2129Look closely at my tomato garden and you will see that each tomato cage has been wound with a strip of Repell-em, and between the scent, the ends waving in the breeze, and the large Repell-em piece acting as a scarecrow there on the end, I really believe we’re going to get some tomatoes for ourselves this year.

I don’t have to worry about “insect repellent” touching my food and contaminating it in any way, because Repell-em products are made of 100% natural ingredients and are completely harmless.

The cats were used to playing in that railroad flat all winter, and it’s really funny to watch them go running toward it and then stop short, look around with a bewildered expression, and then turn and walk away.  The deer have been using that garden patch as a salad bar all winter, but now that there is actual food in it, they behave as though they can’t even see or smell it.  That’s because they can’t.  The EcoSmartPlastics Repellem strips have rendered my tomatoes unplottable!

Here’s a closer shot of a few tomato cages, so you can see in greater detail what I’ve done with the strips of Repell-em. It’s nothing fancy, obviously, but so far it’s working like a charm!

There are so many uses for your Repell-em products. So far, every experiment I’ve done with them has been successful!

All the climate scientists are reminding us that this summer’s batch of insects is the worst in a long, long time, but EcoSmartPlastics Repellem can ensure that your cookouts and picnics are bug-free, too.  And if you go for a pleasant summer walk, make it even more pleasant by tying a strip of Repellem around your ankle and wrist.  You’ll stroll absolutely unmolested by mosquitoes, gnats, chiggers, and any other summer blood-sucking pest.

EcoSmart Repellem products are almost like magic; they work so well, and are completely harmless.  Amazing!

This is the first day of the New Year, which means many of us had or went to a party tonight.  It also means many of us are taking down a Christmas tree today.

After the parties:  Dump all the garbage and trash in a big Repellem trash bag and toss it outside until later.  You don’t have to worry about animals getting into it and scattering it; Ecosmartplastics Repellem products live up to their name: they really do REPEL animals and insects. For the Christmas tree:  If you did like many people and used an extra-large Repellem bag under your tree skirt, disposing of your tree will be a cinch!  Just take off all the ornaments and trim, pull off the skirt, and draw the Repellem bag up around the tree, keeping the needles INSIDE the bag.  No mess, no fuss, and the Repellem bag is strong enough to deal with a tree inside it!  Pick up your tree, arms around the Repellem bag, and toss it outside.  Messy job, finished in minutes with NO mess!

Sleep in this morning, and don’t worry about your garbage bags sitting outside: if you used Ecosmartplastics Repellem bags, nothing will touch them.  And aren’t you glad it was so easy to get your tree out of the living room, with no mess?

EcoSmart’s Repellem products have so many uses; it boggles the mind!

Why not make using only eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable, 100% natural Ecosmartplastics Repellem & Eco-smartbag products one of your resolutions for 2010!

Cooler weather drives bugs indoors, right where we LEAST want them!

However, if you line your closet shelves with EcoSmart Repellem, you won’t have a thing to worry about.  EcoSmart Repellem products REPEL insects and unwanted animals; in other words, those bugs are scared off and will never come back as long as there’s a piece of Ecosmart Repellem on the premisis.

It just takes a few EcoSmart Repellem trashbags or tablecloths.  Simply cover your closet shelf with the Repellem, and tape it down.  Now you can put all those purses and shoes back on it – they’re safe now, too!

EcoSmart Repellem products are made of 100% safe, harmless materials; our products are also completely recyclable.  They do not rely on chemicals in any form: not even sprays.

Wouldn’t it be sensible if we all put some EcoSmart Repellem in our closets?  I keep Repellem in my closet all year, in fact, but it wouldn’t hurt to put in a fresh sheet.

Summer might be be here officially yet, but it’s here, all the same.  Just ask the insects!

It’s time to get out a couple of EcoSmart Repellem trash bags, cut them up, and put the pieces in your cabinets and cupboards.    This will keep away the ants, weevils, roaches, and any other bug that might otherwise think your food storage places would be good dwelling places.

It’s also time to throw an EcoSmart Repellem bag in each clothes closet or clothing storage bureau or bag in your home.  Those folded winter woolens in the bin under your bed would be a perfect hangout for insects this summer.  Don’t let that happen to your family’s good clothing!

All you have to do is put an EcoSmart Repellem product of some kind in each storage bin, and you’re protected from all insects!

It even keeps moths away from your family’s woolens!

Many parents securely fasten a strip of Repellem plastic UNDERNEATH their child’s mattress to make sure insects don’t crawl into the crib and onto the child in the night.  HOWEVER, IF YOU DO THIS, BE SURE IT’S A SMALL STRIP OF REPELLEM, NOT A COMPLETE BAG, AND MAKE SURE THE STRIP IS FASTENED SECURELY.  DO NOT PUT IT ON TOP OF THE CHILD’S MATTRESS, UNDER THE SHEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND BE SURE YOU USE A VERY SMALL STRIP!  EcoSmart Repellem products will not harm your child if touched or tasted, but it is vitally important to keep all plastic bags away from our children for suffocation reasons.

If you use EcoSmart Repellem products throughout your home this summer, you’re assured that no bugs will want to make YOUR home THEIR home.

I’ve done this for a couple of years now, and we haven’t seen a single ant, moth, weevil, or roach inside the house yet.  And I live WAY out in the country, in bugland!

DSCF2138 Remember this scene from last spring? I’m already planning to do it again!

And why would I go to all the time and bother of winding strips of EcoSmart Repellem around each and every tomato cage in my little railroad flat garden? The answer to THAT question is easy: because it works.

Not only does it work, it works beautifully! Last year, my tomatoes were 100% untouched by insects OR animals! No gnats.  None of those huge scary-looking tomato worms.  The deer behaved as if they couldn’t even SEE all those big red delicious tomatoes hanging there.  Raccoons?  Nope.  Possums?  Zilch.  Even the turtles, which can be a genuine pest, stayed out of the garden.

I can’t even imagine having a garden now, without EcoSmart Repellem.  Just think:  no dangerous chemicals!  No hazardous sprays or powders.  Nothing touching the vegetables or flowers that is in the least bit harmful!

You can even help yourself to a cherry tomato or raspberry and gobble it down, sun-warmed and fresher-then fresh, without a single worry about accidentally devouring an insect.  Your children can wander in the garden, as all children should, and you don’t have to worry about them touching dangerous powders or chemicals!  You can feed your family anything at all from your garden, without the slightest concern about chemicals!

It’s only just a few days now until time to put in that garden.  I’ve got my EcoSmart Repellem strips ready and waiting.

Do you?

Ahh, spring.  The official first day of spring is this coming Friday, the 20th, you know.  When the spring weather begins, it stirs up my blood and makes me want to . . . do experiements with Repellem trash bags again!

So, on Friday, the 20th – the first day of spring – I’m going to put a bag of smelly garbage, in an EcoSmart Repellem trash bag,  out on my deck again, to see if the animals will still ignore it.

Last year, remember, the animals acted as if they couldn’t even smell or see the Repellem trash bags, even when they were stuff full of EXTREMELY smelly trash.  Sometimes, animals build up immunities to things, so on Friday, I’ll put another Repellem bag out there and take its picture, and report back to you all next Monday.

My neighbors think I’m kind of weird, to take pictures of my garbage bags, but when I remind them about the EcoSmart Repellem bags that they so love to borrow from me – ahem! – they remember that EcoSmart Repellem trash bags are incredible, amazing, AWESOME trash bags, and they offer to help me with my experiments.

The people next door have small children AND dogs, so I’ll probably be over there taking some pictures of THEIR garbage this spring, too.

Why, is that unusual?

EcoSmart Plastics created Repellem products using all-natural ingredients.  That means that you will be able to use Repellem products even in a house where babies and small children live, because there is nothing whatsoever in any Repellem product that would present a danger of any kind!

Repellem products contain no chemicals or poisons; they do not kill animals and insects – Repellem REPELS animals and insects.  Repellem products will not harm any living thing in any way!

Most household products that keep a home free of insects or unwanted animals must be locked tightly away from curious children, because if such a product fell into a child’s hands it would also end up in a child’s mouth – children are curious, and try to eat almost everything except vegetables, remember.  Even if a child chewed or sucked on a Repellem trash bag or tablecloth, the child would not be harmed in any way.

It is advisable to keep ALL plastic bags out of the reach of tiny children, however, because of the suffocation possibility.

The New Year is here.  This is the first Monday of 2009!  Let us begin, and keep on, with a policy of a cleaner, greener home.
