For the past few summers, I’ve planted my tomatoes and peppers upside down and hung them from the deckposts.  I’m going to do it again this summer.

However, this summer, I’m not going to plant the tomatoes in those big bulky buckets.  Nor am I going to shell out the big bucks for one of those upside-down tomato kits.  I looked at one of those carefully in the store just today, and you know what it is?  It’s a big heavy plastic bag.

Well, I have a box of big heavy plastic bags, and mine are not only big and heavy; they’re 100% insect and animal-proof, completely biodegradable, and made of 100% natural ingredients as well!

It is now Sunday, late afternoon, and as you can see, neither bag has been so much as touched by the millions of raccoons and possums and neighbor dogs that frequent my deck.
