Spiders are with us season-round, but it seems they are at their peak in the early spring and fall. Well, technically, it’s still winter, but early spring is just around the corner, and before you put your foot into a shoe you haven’t worn in a while, be sure you shake it so any brown recluse spiders are gone before your skin goes in.

What’s the big deal about a brown recluse spider, you might ask. They’re small and very plain; what harm could a brown recluse spider do, that should make you so keen to remove them from your home completely, and check all shoes and gloves before putting a foot or hand in them?

For one thing, ANY spider bite is painful and can cause all kinds of problems, especially if the victim turns out to have an allergy to spider-spit.

But the bite of that dusty brown ordinary-looking little brown recluse is extra-harsh. These little spiders are VENOMOUS. Their bites aren’t just painful and itchy; they can kill ya. And before you die, your skin is pretty much eaten away, slowly and painfully. Like this: spiderbite

Lady forgot to check her boot before inserting her foot. ———->

An easy way to keep your closet free of all insects and spiders, including the brown recluse, is to keep a Repell-em bag in there at all times. Just get a Repell-em bag, unfold it, roll it up long, and lay it across the back of your closet.

Voila! No bugs. No spiders. No mice, either.

And no moths!

Plus, your closet will smell really nice.

Need a great gift for a Boy/Girl Scout? How about a tent mat that repels insects and animals? I used to camp out a lot when I was in Scouts, and I loved it, all but the bugs. I would wake up in the morning covered with itchy mosquito bites, and that was bad enough, but the occasional spider bites and “mystery bites” were often painful. I hated those bugs. I also hated the raccoons and possums and squirrels, etc, that would sneak into the campsite and even inside my tent in the night and help themselves to my candy bars and marshmallows.

If I’d had a Repell-em tent mat, I could have enjoyed a great night’s sleep out in the great outdoors and I wouldn’t have had to worry about getting bitten and attacked by the wildlife while I slept. It would also have been a lot more comfortable than putting my sleeping bag down on the hard ground.

If you’ve got a child who is a Scout, think about ordering some Repell-em tent mats. If you are a Scout leader, do more than just think about it. Nobody likes to be eaten alive by insects, and nobody likes to toss and turn all night on lumpy ground. With a Repell-em tent mat, both problems are solved!

You can buy most Repell-em products at most large Cabela’s stores, or you can order them online.

mosquitoYou know how when you go camping, and you look down on your arm or leg or hand or foot or someone else’s hand or leg or arm or foot and invariably you see one, or more, of these pesky mosquitoes sucking away? And then you start to itch, and you have to break out the calamine and then you spend the rest of your weekend looking like a patchwork quilt and itching like a hairshirt model?

It doesn’t have to be that way, you know. You can always shell out a zillion bucks and buy a tent with a mosquito-bar insert; that will keep the bugs out of your tent, but don’t you want to be bug-and-possum - raccoon - and stray dog-free all over your camping area?. You can spray stinky bug-stuff every fifteen minutes; that would probably do the trick if you don’t mind choking and eating hot dogs that taste like Flit. Or, you can buy some Repell-em trash bags and hang one out in the doorway of your tent; that will keep almost every kind of pest - insect and animal - out of your tent. Not only that, it will also keep these same pests away from your campground altogether!

Many people would love to be outdoors more, but don’t dare take the risk because of wasp and bee allergies. Repell-em bags keep these insects away, too. People who haven’t been able to sit outdoors for thirty years find that with a few strips of a Repell-em bag hanging off the deck, no bee or wasp or hornet can come near the place. If your small children suffer from these allergies, Repell-em can enable them to play outside once more!

Repell-em trash bags - in fact, all Repell-em products - are hated by pests everywhere. Animal lovers need not be concerned, as Repell-em products don’t kill the pests; Repell-em products simply repel them. Mosquitoes and flies and bees take one whiff and they’re OUTTA THERE. Raccoons and possums and dogs and cats and really, almost every kind of animals won’t come near a Repell-em product. We haven’t actually tested Repell-em on grizzly bears yet, but I’m betting the bears won’t like them, either. So far, NO animals like Repell-em.

That doesn’t mean Repell-em products stink, either. To a human, Repell-em products smell really good. Honest.

As soon as I opened the REPELL-EM™;Garbage Bag container I was astounded by the lovely smell of these bags. I was expecting a toxic odor but the REPELL-EM™ bags actually smell more like bath products than bug spray! They’re amazing!
