Ecosmart Repellem products are great to buy for yourself, and they also make a great gift for others. Now that I can get them from Alice.com, it’s even easier! Some people might think household products like Repellem would be an odd gift to give someone, but I think like this: if I myself would love to get something as a gift, maybe others would, too. So far, I’ve given Repellem trash bags to many friends and family members and the gratitude is genuine.

Seriously. And Alice.com will deliver wherever you ask them to deliver!

When you order anything from Alice.com, the shipping is free, and your Repellem products (and anything else you order from there) are delivered right to your door. How easy is that? When you open your box, there are your Repellem bags, along with your detergent, cat litter, and anything you’ve ordered.

I generally order big, heavy things from Alice.com to save myself the hassle of lugging them around in the store and loading/unloading them from the car. Repellem products aren’t big or heavy, but the convenience of having them delivered right along with other useful household products is just too good to pass up.

I buy Repellem bags in two sizes: large trash bags and the smaller kitchen-size bags. We had a terrible ant problem in the kitchen this super hot summer until I got out the Ecosmart Repellem bags; now, when I clean my sink and countertops, they stay clean until the people who live here mess them up. I haven’t seen a single ant since I put out the Repellem bags!

Neither has anyone who got Repellem from me as a gift, either.

Repellem products also smell wonderful; it’s like having expensive candles without the expense or danger of burning down the house!

This summer has been hotter than. . . usual, and we humans have spent as much of our time as possible indoors instead of outside. No cooling breezes, no soothing rain. . . it’s been an unusual and dangerous summer for people.

If you’re an insect, however, the summer has been perfection. Many bugs prosper in the heat, and our cats and dogs have required more than the usual amount of flea-and-tick treatments.
Inside where it’s cool might be more comfortable for people, but the bugs are quite aware that inside is where the opportunities are. Our clothing, our bodies, our carpets, our furniture, and most especially, our kitchens, are seen as big playgrounds for the huge populations of this summer’s insects!

The ant population, for example, is big in any season and circumstance, but right now, the ants are everywhere. EVERYWHERE. In our house, for example, the ants have pretty much taken over the kitchen sink and countertops, and nothing we tried seemed to put a dent in it. We used sprays, and poisons, and powders, and natural “green” solutions. We called three different exterminators. The ants came back every time.

Then I took a few Repellem trash bags and put them behind the stove, under the sink, and behind the refrigerator. I cut up a few Repellem bags and put the pieces here and there in the pantry, silverware drawer, and cabinets.

As I type, there are no ants anywhere to be seen. Repellem repelled them.

It works, folks. Repellem products are better than anything else on the market today, and believe me, we tried everything this summer. Nothing works like a Repellem product.

More than spring bulbs are waking up and presenting themselves for our approval; the bugs are making themselves known, too! I’m sure you’ve already noticed that bugs and spiders are awake and trying desperately to get where the easy food is: our homes.

It’s extra important in the springtime to be sure we don’t leave food out where it will only look like a large free buffet to ants, gnats, flies, roaches, and other lovely creatures we don’t invite into our houses; they gatecrash! But we can’t ever clean a house thoroughly enough to keep out the bugs; there is, however, an easy fix for the annual springtime insect invasion. EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products.

As long as there’s a Repellem trash bag in every wastecan, a few strips of Repellem in every kitchen cabinet – don’t worry about your food, as Repellem products are 100% natural and completely harmless – you won’t have to worry about the bugs. Bugs will stay as far away from a Repellem house as possible.

So will the spiders.

I used to have to take down and clean all the light fixtures in spring and summer, at least once a week, to dump out the dead bugs. Now, since I’ve used Repellem in my kitchen and in all the closets in the house, I never have to take down the light fixtures. I’m short, and it was a big annoying deal, and it’s so nice NOT to have to do that any more.

Let me sum up. Warm weather is here, or it’s coming soon (Depends on your location, of course) and if you spread the Repellem products around your house, you’ll never have to deal with bugs.

Oh, and those winter coats hanging in the closet, waiting for next winter? Just cover them with a Repellem trash bag and the moths won’t even know they’re there.

EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products are the best on the market today. My house is proof. Prove it with your house, too.

We read about bedbugs in novels about pioneers. We read about bedbugs being found in unkempt hotel beds. We read about bedbugs in OTHER people’s homes but never ours.

The fact is, however, that bedbugs are back, and they’ve brought reinforcements the likes and numbers of which have never been seen before. Bedbugs are being found in schools, offices, hospitals, daycare, inns, hotels, motels . . . some of the cleanest-looking places in the world are finding bedbugs!

We usually associate bedbugs with, well, beds, but they have other places they love to hide, too. Your clothes and shoes, for example. Your coat closet. Your boots. Your mittens. Your towels, and linen closets. Your drains and electrical outlets. Your baseboards. Blankets. Pillows. Matresses.

Most charitable places no longer accept anything that’s upholstered any more, because bedbugs love your chairs, and sofas. They love your carpets.

They love your car, and your baby’s carseat.

They love your kitchen cabinets. They dance in your dishes when you’re not looking. They scamper among your silverware when the drawer is closed.

My community has been notified of several infestations, but in my house, we haven’t noticed any bedbugs, at least not yet. I have no scientific conclusion to draw, but I do know this: There are EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem bags in all of my closets and cabinets. There are Repellem bags between my mattress and box springs. Repellem bags hang in all of my closets, and there are wadded strips of Repellem bags in all of my drawers.

When I packed away my Christmas decorations and trees, everything was placed in a large Repellem trash bag and securely tied. The sweet, pleasant fragrance of Repellem permeates my house today; it smells better than many expensive candles.

I credit EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem products for my home’s total lack of bedbugs. Oh, and there are no roaches, ants, weevils, or moths here, either. No mice. And when I set the trash out on the deck, it’s completely unmolested.

There is no way I would EVER use another kind of trash bag in my home again. EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem products have won my loyalty, 100%, and everylasting.

. . . and grilling time means outdoors time.  This extra-humid and extra-pollen-ish summer has more than its share of happy and excited bugs, but when we had a cookout this past weekend, we weren’t bothered a bit by insects – not a single, tiny bit.

We didn’t use any dangerous bug sprays or smelly candles, either.  It’s not good to use poisons around food, pets, or children, and a typical cookout has all three.  All we did was put an Ecosmartplastics’ Repellem tablecloth on both round deck tables, and a couple of Repellem trash bags in the wastebaskets.  We’d need tablecloths and trash bags anyway; why not use the best: products that not only serve their usual purpose, but also keep away almost every kind of insect imaginable?

Our cooking could have been plagued with insects, attracted by the sweat, blood, and smells of the cooking food, but it wasn’t.  We didn’t have to sit at the table eating with one hand and swatting bugs away with the other.

We didn’t have to sit and put up with the overwhelming odor of anti-bug skin sprays or citronella candles, either.  All we smelled was food.

Ecosmartplastics Repellem and Eco-Smartbag products are versatile and so very, very useful.  Why put up with insects at your picnic when you can keep them away with a tablecloth?  Why put up with mice and roaches in your kitchen trash can when you can keep them away with a trash bag?

I have used Ecosmartplastics Repellem and Eco-Smartbag products ever since I first heard of them several years ago.  They are far superior to any other kind of plastic product I’ve ever used, and they are the ONLY ones that keep away insects and wild animals.   100% biodegradable and made of 100% natural products, Repellem tablecloths and trash bags will turn your buggy summers into insect-free vacations.

EcoSmartPlastics’ Repellem & Eco-smartbag products are among the most versatile products I’ve ever used!  Not only do these products do everything they’re supposed to do; they do much more!  It seems as if every week I discover more things these products can do, and do WELL!

How many trash bags have you ever bought that will not only be receptables for your garbage and trash but will also keep insects and animals away from your garbage and trash?  Or be made of 100% recyclable, biodegradable, natural ingredients?  Or keep your winter woolens safe from moths?  Or keep the deer and bugs away from your garden?

How many outdoor tablecloths have you ever bought that will also keep the mosquitoes and gnats away from your picnic?

How many such products have you used in the past that caused you to worry and hesitate to use in or near a child or a child’s room for fear of poison, since small children chew on pretty much everything?  With Ecosmartplastics Repellem products, you won’t have these worries.  100% natural, harmless ingredients.

Ecosmartplastics Repellem products don’t even harm the insects and animals it repels; they just, well, REPEL them.

Even the thickest, finest, and most expensive trash bags can not be set outside the night BEFORE the trash truck comes; dogs can smell that feast from miles around.  However, with Ecosmartplastics’ Repellem & Eco-smartbag products, you CAN set your trash outside on the curb the night before because animals simply can not detect the presence of even the stinkiest garbage if it’s inside a sealed Repellem bag.  How nice not to have to rise at dawn to run after the garbage truck with your bags of trash!!

There are more uses than these for Ecosmartplastics’ Repellem & Eco-smartbag products; check this blog each month for updates!  In the meantime, check our archives for all kinds of ways these products can be used.

Did you ever notice that bugs like the trunk of your car?  Well, they do!

Perhaps it’s because we put groceries back there, or wet bathing suits, or dirty laundry on its way from home to the laundromat, or from the dorm to Mom’s house.

Maybe it’s just because it’s dark and cozy in there, and there’s usually a folded blanket to set up housekeeping in.

Whatever the reason, there were spiders in the trunk of my car, and Ididn’t like it.  One summer, ANTS moved in – we were even finding them on the back seats!

Now, though, I don’t have to worry about spider invasions  or ant or musty odors or anything like that in my car’s trunk, because I keep a rolled-up EcoSmart Repellem trash bag back there at all times.

This got rid of several worries:  I never have bugs in the trunk of my car now, and if I need a trash bag, there’s always one there!

EcoSmart Repellem trash bags live up to their name:  they REPEL almost all insects and animals.  Since I started keeping a Repellem bag in the trunk, the cats no longer jump into the trunk and I don’t have to worry about driving off with an animal back there.

Since I started buying Ecosmart Repellem products, I haven’t had to worry about bugs in my house, or in my car, or in my classroom, or in my car, or ANYWHERE!

They’ll also make the trunk smell good.

It’s been a lovely day today: sunny and breezy and very, very hot.  The heat doesn’t bother me, but the bugs drive me CRAZY!

Why, then, was I sitting outside on my deack?

Because I had an EcoSmart Repellem tablecloth on my outdoor table, and there WERE NO BUGS.  Not one.

No mosquitoes.  No flies.  No gnats.  No wasps.  No ants.  No chigger bites on the two borrowed neighbor toddlers.

This is especially significant because we were eating canteloupe at that outdoor table, and we left the juicy rinds outside while we went to water the rosebushes.

When we got back to the mess on the table, there were still no insects of any kind on that mushy, slushy, strong-smelling (Y’all know what canteloupe smells like!)  pile of ickiness on our four plates.

I cleaned up the mess, threw it into an EcoSmart Repellem trash bag along with our supper leftovers, which included several corncobs and some chicken bones.  In an ordinary trash bag, this would have been an animal’s and an insect’s dream-come-true, but that trash bag has been sitting outside on the deck for hours now and nothing has touched it.

Oh, and those less-than-half-price EcoSmart Repellem trash bags I ordered from Cabela’s last Monday?  They arrived in three days.  THREE DAYS.  Whatta deal.

At a friend’s house today, I noticed that there were gnats swarming all over her kitchen trash.  Well, and why wouldn’t they, I thought, seeing that her trash bin was full of watermelon rinds and moldy strawberries!

When I got home, I looked at my own kitchen trash, and there was not a single gnat in sight.  I looked a little closer and saw that my trash bin was full of chicken skin and corncobs from last night’s supper: surely a feast for any self-respecting gnat!

So, what was the difference, bug-wise, between my friend’s kitchen trash and mine?

She used Glad bags, and I used EcoSmart Repellem bags.  That was it.  Everything else was the same: both trash bins were full of overripe food dregs, but only one bin was favorited by the gnats.  My trash bin, with its Repellem trash bag, was absolutely and 100% insect-free.

It’s really, honestly true:  EcoSmart Repellem trash bags will keep ALL insects away from your trash, no matter how smelly, ripe, or alluring your garbage might be to a bug.

Think how much cleaner, and how much SAFER your home would be with EcoSmart Repellem products in every room!

Summer might be be here officially yet, but it’s here, all the same.  Just ask the insects!

It’s time to get out a couple of EcoSmart Repellem trash bags, cut them up, and put the pieces in your cabinets and cupboards.    This will keep away the ants, weevils, roaches, and any other bug that might otherwise think your food storage places would be good dwelling places.

It’s also time to throw an EcoSmart Repellem bag in each clothes closet or clothing storage bureau or bag in your home.  Those folded winter woolens in the bin under your bed would be a perfect hangout for insects this summer.  Don’t let that happen to your family’s good clothing!

All you have to do is put an EcoSmart Repellem product of some kind in each storage bin, and you’re protected from all insects!

It even keeps moths away from your family’s woolens!

Many parents securely fasten a strip of Repellem plastic UNDERNEATH their child’s mattress to make sure insects don’t crawl into the crib and onto the child in the night.  HOWEVER, IF YOU DO THIS, BE SURE IT’S A SMALL STRIP OF REPELLEM, NOT A COMPLETE BAG, AND MAKE SURE THE STRIP IS FASTENED SECURELY.  DO NOT PUT IT ON TOP OF THE CHILD’S MATTRESS, UNDER THE SHEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND BE SURE YOU USE A VERY SMALL STRIP!  EcoSmart Repellem products will not harm your child if touched or tasted, but it is vitally important to keep all plastic bags away from our children for suffocation reasons.

If you use EcoSmart Repellem products throughout your home this summer, you’re assured that no bugs will want to make YOUR home THEIR home.

I’ve done this for a couple of years now, and we haven’t seen a single ant, moth, weevil, or roach inside the house yet.  And I live WAY out in the country, in bugland!
