School has started by now, no matter what part of the country you might live in, and if your children haven’t brought home those long lists of classroom supplies yet, you might want to check their backpacks for it because it’s time.

Remember that our public schools are experiencing genuine budget crunches, and those lists of basic classroom supplies are the difference between our kids having well-equipped classrooms and our kids using a stick and a patch of mud.

Your child’s teacher would really appreciate it if you included some EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem trash bags along with the crayons and glue sticks.  Where there are lots of little kids, there will be bugs, and anything we can do to help keep our classrooms clean and safe is going to be greatly appreciated by the teachers and by the parents of the other children, too.

So why not send a couple of boxes of EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products to school this year.  Your child is in that room, too, remember.  You want that classroom to be as clean and safe as possible, and Repellem products will help that happen.

The winter has been so mild that many of us haven’t even worn our warmest winter coats yet, and now it’s almost time to pack them away again!

My coat still smells faintly of Repellem, which is a good thing because Ecosmart Plastics and Repellem products smell really good.  It’s not an “insecticide” or chemical kind of smell at all; it’s more like expensive candles, only much fainter.

When our coats and sweaters retain a little of the smell, it’s awesome.

Let’s all make sure we’ve got plenty of Ecosmart Plastics and Repellem products on hand so we can pack away our winter coats and woolens soon.

It’s almost time to carve your jack o’lantern for Halloween! Usually, October isn’t all that cold, so the pumpkins start to crawl with bugs fore a few days have gone by. This, of course, makes the pumpkins look awful and add an ick factor to your home that doesn’t have anything to do with a holiday.

EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem has a better idea.

Carve your pumpkin as usual, but scrape out a little more of the pulp that you ordinarily would. Cut out the face – make it scary!

Take a Repellem trash bag and line the inside of your carved pumpkin with it. Then, put a battery-powered fake candle in the center – a big wide one looks best. DO NOT use a real candle with a plastic trash bag inside the pumpkin!

When you put this red-lined jack o’lantern on the porch or front step and turn on the battery-powered light inside it, step back and admire: The pumpkin’s face will glow and bring out the red of the lining, and the look is unmistakably HALLOWEEN! Plus, your pumpkin will not become infested with insects at all; the bugs won’t even know it’s there, and this means your pumpkin will stay fresh longer, too.

Those glowing red eyes will bring some oohs and aahs from your little trick-or-treaters, too.

I’ve been doing my jack o’lanterns this way for four years now, and each year look creepier With Halloween pumpkins, that’s exactly the effect I want!

(Remember: no candles! Battery-powered lights only!)

Your kids are bringing home long lists of needed school supplies, both for themselves and for the classroom in general.

While you’re filling that bag with tissues, scissors, hand sanitizer, and other items to be used and shared in your child’s classroom, why not add a box or two of EcoSmart Plastics Repellem Trash Bags?

Classrooms are full of people, washed and unwashed.  Classrooms are full of packed lunches – can you hear the cockroaches and flies cheering?  Classrooms are full of sandaled feet – moist toejam, anyone?  A typical classroom is a veritable buffet of delights for insects and mice!

Let me sum up, as they say in The Princess Bride:  Your children’s classrooms need EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem trash bags probably more than your kitchen does, and we already know your kitchen needs them DESPERATELY.

Send a couple of Repellem boxes to school, maybe with a note explaining their awesome usefulness to the teacher – and we’re betting you’ll be the most popular family on this year’s roster!

This extra-hot summer weather doesn’t keep outdoor-lovers indoors, and the excess of insects that are swarming everywhere because of that same humidity and heat can’t keep outdoor-lovers inside, either!

Just because there are bugs everywhere, that doesn’t mean we have to put up with them. Just a few EcoSmart Plastics Repellem and Eco-smartbag products here and there in your house and car will keep almost every single insect away.

Camping? Be sure to bring your Repellem tent mat. There won’t be a single bug in your tent. Put a Repellem trash bag in the bottom of your sleeping bag, and there won’t be any bugs in there, either. In fact, put a Repellem trash bag by your campsite and a Repellem tablecloth on your camp table, and you can leave the fly swatter at home.

With EcoSmart Repellem products, you can also leave the dangerous bug sprays at home, too.  Better yet?  Leave those things at the store.  With Repellem, you won’t need anything else.

Not only will EcoSmart Plastics Repellem trash bags and other products prevent animals from sensing and therefore tearing up and making a mess of your garbage, your Repellem bags will also keep the bugs away.

We had a cookout on the 4th, and everyone commented about the complete and total lack of insects buzzing around us out on the deck. Well, it was because of the trash bags that accumulated as the cookout progressed. With EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products, you won’t ever have to use dangerous insect repellents that contain poisons; your Repellem tablecloth and the bags of cookout trash will take care of the bug problem.

There are so many reasons why I use EcoSmart Repellem products in my home, but one of them is that I can use them safely around my children, and around food, as Repellem products contain only natural ingredients that are 100% harmless to both. And while the cats and dog stay away when Repellem products are in use, the products won’t harm my pets, either.

Everybody is outdoors a lot in summer, and it’s so nice to be able to BE outdoors and not have to worry about batting away the insects all the time.

More than spring bulbs are waking up and presenting themselves for our approval; the bugs are making themselves known, too! I’m sure you’ve already noticed that bugs and spiders are awake and trying desperately to get where the easy food is: our homes.

It’s extra important in the springtime to be sure we don’t leave food out where it will only look like a large free buffet to ants, gnats, flies, roaches, and other lovely creatures we don’t invite into our houses; they gatecrash! But we can’t ever clean a house thoroughly enough to keep out the bugs; there is, however, an easy fix for the annual springtime insect invasion. EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products.

As long as there’s a Repellem trash bag in every wastecan, a few strips of Repellem in every kitchen cabinet – don’t worry about your food, as Repellem products are 100% natural and completely harmless – you won’t have to worry about the bugs. Bugs will stay as far away from a Repellem house as possible.

So will the spiders.

I used to have to take down and clean all the light fixtures in spring and summer, at least once a week, to dump out the dead bugs. Now, since I’ve used Repellem in my kitchen and in all the closets in the house, I never have to take down the light fixtures. I’m short, and it was a big annoying deal, and it’s so nice NOT to have to do that any more.

Let me sum up. Warm weather is here, or it’s coming soon (Depends on your location, of course) and if you spread the Repellem products around your house, you’ll never have to deal with bugs.

Oh, and those winter coats hanging in the closet, waiting for next winter? Just cover them with a Repellem trash bag and the moths won’t even know they’re there.

EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products are the best on the market today. My house is proof. Prove it with your house, too.

Even though the snow is still coming down in many areas of the country, the sun is shining more and more and the spring bulbs are trying to punch through the cold soil in many other places.  No matter where you hang your hat, though, it will soon be time to hang your winter coats away, too.

For the past several years, I’ve been storing our heavy winter coats in individual EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem trash bags, and we have never seen a single moth in my house.

The horror of opening a closet door and seeing a handful of those tiny clothes moths flutter out will not happen here.  My Repellem trash bags will not allow it!

So go ahead and pack away your winter woolens and wrap your package in Repellem trash bags or tablecloths; you’ll save both money and aggravation.  Your home will be cleaner, too, with no insects, living or dead, to mess with.  Your home will also be safer and greener, as EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem products are 100% biodegradable, and made of 100% safe and natural ingredients.  No poisons or dangerous chemicals whatsover.

Next fall, when you take your winter woolens out again, they will be intact.  Nothing wrapped in Repellem will ever become a dish on a moth or weevil’s buffet!

As for those bedbugs so many people are seeing and getting upset over. . . . I’ve never seen a single bedbug in my house.  I think they’re scared of Repellem products, too.

A household that uses EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products doesn’t have to worry about bedbugs, or weevils, or moths.  Oh my, indeed! With a Repellem tablecloth or trashbag in each closet, there will be no moths. With just a little strip of Repellem on each pantry shelf, there will be no weevils.  Your flour, cornmeal, etc. will always be clean and safe from contamination. With a Repellem tablecloth or trashbag between your mattress and box springs, you will never have to worry about bedbugs.  While you’re standing in your bedroom, in fact, it would be good to hang a piece of Repellem product over a hangar in the closet, as well.  Your coats woolens are safe, when Repellem is on the job.A home that uses EcoSmart Repellem products is safe from invading insects or vermin, which also means that a home that uses Repellem products will be much cleaner and safer for small children than a home that doesn’t use our products. With EcoSmart Repellem products, there is no need to use poisons or sprays that render surfaces and floors unsafe for babies to crawl around on them.  Your foods are also safe to eat, with a Repellem product in the pantry protecting them.Ever since my family discovered EcoSmart Plastics and Repellem products, our home has seemed so much cleaner, so much safer, and so much more free of invading insects and vermin.

We read about bedbugs in novels about pioneers. We read about bedbugs being found in unkempt hotel beds. We read about bedbugs in OTHER people’s homes but never ours.

The fact is, however, that bedbugs are back, and they’ve brought reinforcements the likes and numbers of which have never been seen before. Bedbugs are being found in schools, offices, hospitals, daycare, inns, hotels, motels . . . some of the cleanest-looking places in the world are finding bedbugs!

We usually associate bedbugs with, well, beds, but they have other places they love to hide, too. Your clothes and shoes, for example. Your coat closet. Your boots. Your mittens. Your towels, and linen closets. Your drains and electrical outlets. Your baseboards. Blankets. Pillows. Matresses.

Most charitable places no longer accept anything that’s upholstered any more, because bedbugs love your chairs, and sofas. They love your carpets.

They love your car, and your baby’s carseat.

They love your kitchen cabinets. They dance in your dishes when you’re not looking. They scamper among your silverware when the drawer is closed.

My community has been notified of several infestations, but in my house, we haven’t noticed any bedbugs, at least not yet. I have no scientific conclusion to draw, but I do know this: There are EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem bags in all of my closets and cabinets. There are Repellem bags between my mattress and box springs. Repellem bags hang in all of my closets, and there are wadded strips of Repellem bags in all of my drawers.

When I packed away my Christmas decorations and trees, everything was placed in a large Repellem trash bag and securely tied. The sweet, pleasant fragrance of Repellem permeates my house today; it smells better than many expensive candles.

I credit EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem products for my home’s total lack of bedbugs. Oh, and there are no roaches, ants, weevils, or moths here, either. No mice. And when I set the trash out on the deck, it’s completely unmolested.

There is no way I would EVER use another kind of trash bag in my home again. EcoSmartPlastics and Repellem products have won my loyalty, 100%, and everylasting.
