All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

Archive for the 'Tent mats' Category

Repell-em products are made of 100% natural ingredients, such as lemons, apples, citronella, peppermint, rosemary, cloves, geraniums, and a little mineral oil.  There is not a single drop or dot of anything poisonous, and absolutely NO Deet, in any Repell-em product.

Deet can be dangerous, both to human skin and to the environment.  Deet is poisonous, and hazardous if taken internally.  It’s a pesticide, not a repellent.  It’s made of chemicals.

Repell-em is absolutely harmless, even if your child puts it in his mouth.  Repell-em doesn’t even harm the insects or animals; it just REPELS them!

Smart parents don’t keep dangerous poisons in the house, but with Repell-em products, parents don’t need to worry at all about their children getting into the Repell-em.  It won’t hurt them.  And using Repell-em trash bags, tablecloths, and camping extras will actually help keep your children SAFE, because the insects and animals won’t come near them!

I was in a store tonight looking at the garden supplies and I saw a display of those coiled insect-repelling bracelets; they were priced at five dollars apiece.

Why would you ever pay that much for something like that when all you need to do is cut one of your Repell-em bags into strips and tie them around the ankles or wrists of your children and yourself and you’d get the same result, except perhaps just a little bit BETTER!!!!

Repell-em products certainly smell better.  And it’s true:  Repell-em products are far more effective at keeping away the insects than anything else you can buy.  Even specialized products can’t do a better job than Repell-em.

Remember, Repell-em not only makes the best tablecloths, trash bags, and camping supplies than any other company:  Repell-em products have so many more uses than just what’s on the label.

campsiteSpring is here, and already dedicated campers are out in the woods, sleeping in tents, cooking over campfires, and enjoying life in the outdoors.

Even campers have trash, and Mother Nature doesn’t take kindly to having garbage strewn all over her grassy carpets. This is exactly what happens, however, when garbage is set out in regular clear or white trash bags. Animals can smell the goodies inside from miles away, and they don’t mind being called litterbugs, because they will tear those regular trash bags to pieces and scatter the contents everywhere.

Today’s wise campers will take Repell-em products with them to the campsite. Repell-em tent mats and liners will keep insects and animals out of the tent. Repell-em tablecloths will keep insects and animals away from your picnic table. Strips of Repell-em bags around your wrist or ankle will keep insects away from you when you walk or hike. And when you bag your trash in a Repell-em trash bag, it will not only keep the bugs away from your campsite, it will also repel most animals as well.

The natural ingredients in Repell-em products are repellent to bugs and animals, but the combination of these ingredients smells very pleasant to humans. Many people say that Repell-em products smell like expensive scented candles!

I think that, as of right at this moment, I have given some Repell-em trash bags to everyone I know who loves to go camping.  I sent tent mats to my brother and my two nephews, because they like to sleep right on the ground when they camp, and I mailed a Repell-em tablecloth to my sister-in-law, because she lives almost exclusively out on her deck once the weather begins to get warm.

One of my friends had a really good idea about using Repell-em bags in a campground.  He said that when you’re stuck in a campsite close to the public campground bathrooms, the possibility of animal and insect attacks is increased, because animals and insects just naturally gravitate to any area that contains smelly, edible substances.

He recommends substituting Repell-em trash bags for the cheap trash bags that parks tend to use.  This makes the entire park safer and better -smelling not only for your own family’s use but also for the benefit of everybody in the vicinity of the Repell-em bags.

If your local parks occasionally request donations, why not donate some packages of Repell-em trash bags?

Speaking for myself - and my enthusiastic sister-in-law - I would NEVER use any other kind of outdoor tablecloth now that I have seen first-hand what my Repell-em tablecloth can do for me.  Spread that Repell-em cloth on your picnic table and you will be completely rid of flies, ants, bees, raccoons, possums, stray dogs, and pretty much anything that has ever annoyed you while you were trying to eat outdoors.

Repell-em products work no matter what kind of weather you’re having, too.  Even in the hottest, most humid climates, Repell-em products keep on working.  And as long as Repell-em keeps on working, you won’t have to worry about the bugs or the animals bothering your campsite or your family.

Not only are Repell-em products 100% biodegradable, made of 100% natural ingredients, made in America, and absolutely guaranteed to repel insects and most animals, Repell-em products also come in many different forms.

You can buy Repell-em trash bags in two sizes. You can buy Repell-em tent mats and tent liners and tablecloths. Repell-em also makes dog poop bags, and if you’ve ever tried to clean up after your dog with baggies or old shopping bags and had it burst in your hand or smell up the elevator on your way back home, you’ll really appreciate these.

If there is a product you need that isn’t listed, you can custom-order it! Repell-em takes requests. We can even put your own logo on either or both sides of our Eco-Smart products. You can even choose among several different colors for your custom order.

If you buy in bulk, Repell-em will give you an even better deal.

Remember, Repell-em products do far more than what’s on the box: you can cut them up and place them anywhere insects or animals are a pest. Put them in your crawlspace to keep out skunks. Tie a little piece of Repell-em around your wrist and walk in the woods without being bothered by mosquitoes or flies. Fold a piece of Repell-em and put it under your silverwear tray or under a sofa or chair cushion. Hang a piece of Repell-em in your closet to keep the moths away.

With Repell-em bags, you can set your trash outside the night before, so you don’t have to get up at dawn to catch the garbage truck!

BearInGarbageY’all really do need to start putting your garbage out in Repell-em trash bags, because you know how it is. . .

First, it’s your own pets. Then, it’s the neighbor’s dog. Then, the strays and dog packs smell what you’ve set outside and they all come running to get a piece of the buffet.

The next thing you know, wild animals from nearby forests and parks smell the delights inside those cheap trash bags and they come down, defy your fence, and take your trash bags apart to get at that leftover lasagna and the moldy salami you found way in the back of the refrigerator, and bite your arm off if you try to interfere. It’s always something.

Repell-em trash bags haven’t actually been tested on bears yet, but this summer they will undergo the “Bear Test” and I’ll report the findings right here on this blog.

I’m guessing that anybody who camps in Yellowstone or any other park where bears tend to hang out might also benefit from Repell-em Tent Mats and Repell-em Tent Liners. Both of these products are on sale right now, too!

These products have already been tested on insects and smaller animals, and Repell-em products passed with flying colors.

Today is the vernal equinox, by the way. The sun rose this morning EXACTLY in the east and will set tonight EXACTLY in the west. After today and tonight, the sun will be more laid back and less precise in its actions.

I just ordered two sets of tent mats for my brother and his two sons. They live in the Rockies and camp a LOT. Both boys have insect allergies and they are really excited about giving the Repell-em tent mats a try.

I’m betting that the next camping trip they go on will be a lot easier, and that this time they won’t come home wheezing and covered with medication.

I’m betting that the next camping trip they go on will be nothing but insect-free fun.

I’m also sending them a couple of Repell-em trash bags to use by their campsite. Not only will their trash repel all the insects - yes, even the mosquitoes! - but my brother and my nephews won’t have to worry about any little wild critters trying to make off with their food!

Repell-em products are IDEAL for campers, hikers, picnickers, people who just like to sit outside, and anybody who doesn’t want bugs and wild animals in or near their home.

Wouldn’t that be everybody?

campsiteThis guy is camping in the woods, beside a big lake. The people in the campsite next to him are almost overcome with mosquitoes, and the raccoons and possums and squirrels are driving them insane.

This guy, however, is having no problems whatsoever with insects or animal pests.

The people in the campsite next to him have had to pick up their garbage every single morning, because no matter how “securely” they wrap it up and cover it, the insects and animals can smell the alluring scent of rancid hamburger and stale buns and wrappers with the scent of something yummy still emanating from them, and as soon as the sun goes down they go for it! And they rummage around and mess it up until they find what they smelled from a long way off. What a mess to wake up to.

But this guy wakes up to a pristine campsite. His trash bags are unmolested, even though he filled them with fish heads the night before.

The people in the next campsite wake up covered with mosquito bites every morning. They’ve tried everything: sprays, bracelets, little bug-be-gone pouches in their pockets, but nothing works for more than a few minutes.

Our guy wakes up completely bite-free every morning, and he stays that way even when he’s out in his boat on that beautiful lake, where every other fisherman is battling the bugs until it’s difficult to stay out on the water for very long without going insane.

What’s the difference between our guy and everybody else in this lovely state park? Nothing, really. His tent is pretty much the same as everybody else’s, his fishing gear is nothing exceptional, and he’s eating much the same kinds of food and throwing away the same kinds of garbage as all the other campers. Why isn’t he being eaten alive by bugs and why is every animal in the park giving his campsite a wide berth?

It’s because our guy is using Repell-em trash bags. He’s also got a Repell-em tent mat under his sleeping bag. When he goes out on the lake, he’s got little strips of Repell-em bags around his ankles and wrists. That’s all it takes to enjoy the great outdoors without having to deal with the great swarms of insects and the pesky hordes of hungry animals.

His campsite is as pristine as it looks. There are no bugs. There are no annoying hungry animals. He can set out his trash in Repell-em bags and leave them as long as he wishes; nothing will molest them.

How great is that?

And, Repell-em trash bags will keep animals and insects away from your garage, your home, your deck, and your curbside, too. You’ll be the only guy on the block with intact trash on garbage day. The guys who ride the city truck and gather up trash will love you.

Need a great gift for a Boy/Girl Scout? How about a tent mat that repels insects and animals? I used to camp out a lot when I was in Scouts, and I loved it, all but the bugs. I would wake up in the morning covered with itchy mosquito bites, and that was bad enough, but the occasional spider bites and “mystery bites” were often painful. I hated those bugs. I also hated the raccoons and possums and squirrels, etc, that would sneak into the campsite and even inside my tent in the night and help themselves to my candy bars and marshmallows.

If I’d had a Repell-em tent mat, I could have enjoyed a great night’s sleep out in the great outdoors and I wouldn’t have had to worry about getting bitten and attacked by the wildlife while I slept. It would also have been a lot more comfortable than putting my sleeping bag down on the hard ground.

If you’ve got a child who is a Scout, think about ordering some Repell-em tent mats. If you are a Scout leader, do more than just think about it. Nobody likes to be eaten alive by insects, and nobody likes to toss and turn all night on lumpy ground. With a Repell-em tent mat, both problems are solved!

You can buy most Repell-em products at most large Cabela’s stores, or you can order them online.
