We all want to keep our children safe from sunburn and insect bites! Sometimes, however, insect repellents are too harsh for a child’s skin, and occasionally we lose track of the time and even a strong sunscreen will wear off, resulting in a bad sunburn for a child.
How can we keep our children from being harmed by the great outdoors, without causing more harm to their sensitive skin with harsh chemicals, etc?
I can think of two things - both very inexpensive - both absolutely harmless to a child - that will definitely help keep children safer in summer’s bright sun and hordes of biting, stinging insects, while still giving the child freedom to play and swim to his/her heart’s content!
Put little strips of Repell-em around your child’s wrists and ankles, and put a bracelet made of Color-changing UV Beads on his/her wrist. The Repell-em will keep the bugs away from your child, and the beads will tell you both when it’s time to re-apply the sunscreen. How? When you put sunscreen on your child, be sure to put it all over the bracelet, too. Tell your child that when the beads turn colors, it’s time to put more sunscreen on! Then, set the timer and let your child play. When the sunscreen starts to wear off the beads, they turn all the colors of the rainbow! That means, it’s time to put more sunscreen on the beads, and on the child! As long as the beads are white, the sunscreen is still working.
Don’t worry about the Repell-em strips; their effect will last for DAYS! You can even re-use the same strips the next day, and the next; they’ll still be working, and working well. No insects will come near your child when he/she is protected by any Repell-em product. Don’t worry about causing harm to your child’s skin, either; Repell-em products are made from 100% natural, harmless ingredients, and are absolutely harmless to the skin.
Children should be outdoors as much as possible in all seasons, but in the summer most of all. They can, too, with no fear of painful burns or bites, with Repell-em products and Steve Spangler’s Color-Changing UV Beads.
Repell-em products are superior to any other such product; I personally don’t use any other kind. Even those ultra-expensive brand names can’t live up to Repell-em!!!
