There’s something about writing that sends a surge of adrenaline through my veins. I’m not sure if it’s the site of a blank page begging to be filled with ideas, words, and theories. Or it could be it’s a modern version of the old time soapbox which allowed people to stand on a corner in town and shout their concerns to the masses…Whatever the reason for my blogging addiction it all starts with fingers on a keyboard. That tttttt ttt ttt ttt sound. The feel of the keys underneath my fingertips zooming along trying to keep up with the thoughts as they rush out of my brain. I’m aware that some of you who read this won’t understand, but trust me it’s an addiction.
Now straight from the folks at Cradle-to-Cradle comes a cooler and greener way to look at the keyboard. Complete with platform, mouse, and palm rest (if you don’t have a palm rest wake to the smell of the 21st century and do your wrists a favor ) all made from recycled materials, Cradle-to-Cradle has really created a work of art for you home computer. The keyboard is made from “98% recycled steel content, the keyboard platform uses 100% recycled kraft paper content and the palm rest is made from a proprietary waterborne urethane”
Plus as far as keyboards go the thing looks fantastic. According to a press release from their parent company Details,“We continually seek ways to build products that have a positive impact not only in the office, but also on the environment. Cradle-to-cradle certification for our new keyboard validates our work in this area."
All in all I’d say this is just one more gift to add to that Christmas list.
