All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

I’m a huge Linkin Park fan. Just got their last album and minus a few misses overall the album was definitely worth the four year wait. Now I’ve got a reason to love the guys even more!!! The band announced that they are joining up with Music For Relief and American Forest in order to make their new tour (Projekt Revolution) environmentally friendly. By using bio-fuels whenever possible and recycling at every show, the guys are just doing their part to save the planet.

Korn is taking the idea of a green tour one step further by actually creating their own brand of bio-fuel. Korntastic (yep that’s really going to be the name) is just the newest on a list of things Korn plans to do to help save the Earth. Like Linkin Park, the alt-rockers will be using bio-fuels whenever possible in order to cut back the huge number of CO2 emissions that spew from their buses as they criss-cross the country.

Now for the coolest in rock related recycling news. Meet the bad Recoup though they aren’t the mega-stars like Korn/Linkin Park; they are doing something nobody else has yet to attempt…they are selling their music in chip bags. No this isn’t some special hi-tech term for a music packaging that contains wires, electrodes, and RAM. I mean literally used chip bags. You know Frito Lay, Doritos, Cheetos, etc…..I’m going out on a limb and saying that they have probably been cleaned and degreased, but regardless this is a very creative idea and one that is sure to bring the band some major exposure.
