I post a picture of my Christmas tree here, every year. That’s because it’s an EcosmartPlastics Repellem tree!
This is my Christmas tree, in my living room. It’s covered with all kinds of ornaments, swinging to and fro, playing music, and offering temptation to my two cats like you would not BELIEVE.
This is our third Christmas with the cats. Last year was the first year we DIDN’T have problems with cats and a Christmas tree - two years ago, we had so much trouble with the cats climbing on the tree, batting things off the tree, and generally making the tree their own, that we almost gave up and took it down.
Last year, however, was the first year I put a Repellem tablecloth under the tree skirt. You can’t really see it this year, except for a little bit in the front, but underneath that tree skirt is a full-size EcoSmartPlastics Repellem tablecloth.
Two years ago, the cats went berserk over the tree and almost took it down. Last year, we put a Repellem tablecloth under the skirt and when the tree was up and the cats came back inside, they took one look and made a mad run for the tree.
When they got close to it, they stopped short, sniffed, turned around, and walked calmly away. They never went near the Christmas tree all the rest of the season.
This year, it’s as if there were no tree at all in the living room. The cats pay it no heed whatsoever.
I know why, too.
It’s the Repellem under the skirt. It will keep your cats, and your dogs, and all insects away from your Christmas tree. Just replace the Repellem approximately every three weeks. You’ll be able to go to work knowing your tree will still be standing when you get home.
I highly recommend this little trick for YOUR Christmas tree. As I said above, your cats won’t bother it, and neither will your dogs. If you have a real tree, you won’t get any bugs on or in it, either. If you are Chevy Chase, you won’t have to worry about squirrels.
There are all kinds of holiday uses for Repellem products. Just be careful not to let any kind of candle or flame get near Repellem. Plastic melts, you know.
I’m so happy with Repellem under my Christmas tree! And when Mama’s happy, everybody’s happy.
