Unless, of course, you don’t like free stuff, and you absolutely love mosquitoes, flies, raccoons, possums, stray dogs, scattered garbage, and bad smells hanging around your trash.

Now, I have to go set my trash outside.  Tomorrow morning, early, is pick-up day, and now that I have Repell-em trash bags, I can set my trash out by the street the night before and the animals won’t TOUCH it.  It’s great.  Trash pickup day has almost always been my only day off, and my only opportunity to “sleep in,” and having to get up at dawn (translation: before noon) to put out my trash was a real downer.  Now, though?  I can set out my garbage the night before and when they come by to pick it up in the morning, it’s still intact.

I can’t say the same for my neighbors on either side, but such is life.  The animals can smell their garbage through their cheap trash bags from miles away.  They might as well put a sign on their garbage that says “Free Wildlife Buffet,” because that’s what it is.

As for MY garbage, sitting up there by the road in pretty red bags. . . it might as well be invisible, because no critter can touch it.
