All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

Every year the wife and I grab the baby and make our annual trip way down south to lower Mississippi to see the grandparents. It’s a giant production that takes weeks to plan in advance. I used to be on the road most weekends for work and after a certain point you get to where you hate to stop for anything. Let’s just get in the car and get there. Obviously that can’t always happen with the baby in the car, but one thing we always do is make sure to take along snacks so we can stay on the road longer. Pretzels, popcorn, chips, snack-cakes we bring it all. The food stays in the car once we get to where we are going and is there for the trip back. This has always worked well until last year.

We had been there for a couple of days, just hanging around with the grandparents. Never leaving the house. When for one reason or another I had to run an errand. I didn’t notice at first, but after a few minutes I kept seeing something moving in the passenger seat. Not even thinking I killed an ant that happened to be crawling along the dashboard. No big deal, just the one ant. Meanwhile I keep thinking I see movement in different places of the car. Finally I get to a red light and look in the back seat to find a swarm of ants eating my car!! These weren’t your normal ants…these were giant hungry ants that had made it through hurricane Katrina!!

I quickly found a spot, got some bug spray, and soaked the inside of my car from steering wheel to tail light. The monster ants were everywhere!!! We had to suffer the whole way home being besieged with ants and trying to air out to car from all the bug spray.

This year’s trip to grandmas is just around the corner and I was already trying to figure out a way to not let the same thing happen again. I was taking out the trash and noticed that my Repell-em Garbage bags had cured my problem with wasps and flies hovering around my trashcan. No insects anywhere. Then it hit me!!! Why not take a roll of Repell-em bags with me this year!! It makes perfect sense: once we get there I’ll put a couple bags in the floor boards, gather up the snacks and put them in one, and then throw one in the trunk. Not only will I not have to worry about the insects making my station wagon their new home, Repell-em bags smell fantastic and nothing like those chemical containing aerosol repellents.

It makes perfect sense!! If hikers and campers can use the bags to store food so that squirrels, raccoons, bears, and insects leave their campsite alone…then why can’t I do the same thing so I can protect my car?

Do you have a problem with pesky bugs and animals getting into your food or trash? Stop the worrying about what to do and order your set of Repell-em bags today. Now in two get sizes, kitchen and lawn/leaf size!!
