Okay, here’s the new setup. This is the same Repell-em trash bag, and that is a brand-new Glad trash bag sitting beside it. They’re touching, and I did that on purpose.
I did lift the Repell-em bag for the first time in a week, because I wanted to see what that ’thing’ is underneath it. (It’s a piece of net from a sack of lemons, and it did NOT come out of the Repell-em bag. I left it there, though, because the animals stuck it under there.) (This is an experiment, and I’m not messing with any of the components!)
I’m wondering this time if the fact that the Glad bag is leaning against the Repell-em bag will cause the animals to leave both bags alone. Or maybe leave the Glad bag alone for a little longer. We’ll see, and since my house and deck are way out in the country, there are plenty of hungry animals with good noses to experiment with.
And can I call it or what? It only took this black cat a few minutes to “sense” that there was free food on the deck. Notice which bag the cat has chosen? And notice that the cat is favoring the side of the Glad bag that’s farthest from the Repell-em bag?
By the time I ran back into the house for my camera, the cat had already torn some holes in the Glad bag, near the bottom where the leftover spaghetti had settled.
The more I use Repell-em trash bags, and I use them regularly now, not just for experimental purposes, the more impressed I am with their quality, strength, and their amazing ability to keep all this pestiferous away from my home. I can’t wait to try them when the weather gets sultry; they’ll have to work harder, but I’m betting that Repell-em products will prove superior even when the temperature is in the hundreds.
This product is simply fantastic.
