We live out in the country, and we have to take care of our own trash.  We generally take it to the county dump on Friday evening or Saturday morning.  It’s no fun, but afterwards we treat ourselves to lunch at Snow’s so when I tell you that I look forward to taking the trash to the dump, please don’t think it’s the dump that makes me smile:  it’s the lunch, afterwards.

Today, I got home from school, gathered all the trash together, tied it off and threw the bags out on the deck.  As I was doing this, it occurred to me how very, very much Repell-em products have improved my life.

Before I learned about Repell-em, I had to store the full trash bags in my kitchen, because if I put them outside too soon, the possums, raccoons, and cats were all over them and I ended up on my hands and knees gathering up my trash, AGAIN, and rebagging it.   It was aggravating and expensive.

Now, I can toss the Repell-em trash bags out on the deck a whole day or two before we take it to the dump, and nothing bothers it.  No animals, no insects, no NOTHING!  No matter what might be inside the Repell-em trash bag - and right now, one of those bags is full of corncobs, vegetable skins, and citrus rinds - the animals just simply can’t see or smell it and I don’t have to worry about my garbage being scattered all over the yard any more.

Best of all, I don’t have to keep full trash bags in the kitchen.  I hated that!
