All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

ladybugIt’s begun! The infestation of the ladybug beetles has begun, here in southern Indiana.

These are not ladybugs; they are ladybug beetles. Ladybugs do not bite or stink like the dickens when you squash them. Ladybug beetles bite and stink.

How they get into the house, nobody really knows. But once the sun starts shining on your windows around here, the ladybug beetles start swarming soon thereafter.

The very minute I first noticed a few of these nasty bugs INSIDE my windows, though, I knew what to try. I folded a small Repell-em trash bag and put it in the bottom right-hand corner of the French doors in my kitchen.

An hour later, there was not a ladybug beetle in sight. Repell-em products repel ladybug beetles, as well as pretty much every other pestiferous thing in the world.

102_1980The folded Repell-em bag is barely noticeable, and as long as it’s there, if it all goes as it’s going right now, there will be no ladybug beetle problem in my house this spring.

I’ll keep you posted.

Oh, and that Repell-em trash bag full of icky smelly food that’s been out on my deck for the past week? It’s still there, and it’s still intact.
