It’s time once again to review an environmental product (like our very own Repellem bags) that just screams “BUY ME BUY ME BUY ME!!” I’ve probably mentioned more than a few times that I’m the proud pop of a 19 month old boy and there’s nothing he wants more to do than to play outside. I think if given the choice we could just move to a campground complete with tents and port-a-potties and he’d be just as happy. This is why for me the next green invention really is something of amazement simply because I can see his face the first time he takes a peek at it. I’m talking about the Energy Bucket.
Picture a rainy day, you’ve spent the past five staring out at the window from you desk dreaming about all the cool things you and your family will be able to do outside this weekend only to have it storm all day Saturday. If only there was a way to bundle up all that sunshine and carry it with you for a while. A way to collect that precious sunlight and wrap your arms around it. Well check this new gadget out!!!
Designed by Stefan Merlo, you are looking at a pale that uses solar power to power a few LED lights located inside it in order to give off an amazing glow. The pale is not only one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while, it also helps kids learn about the power of the sun. With more and more people turning to solar power every year kids are never to young to learn how things are powered and what types of power doesn’t harm the planet. What kid wouldn’t love knowing that tonight after the sun goes down he/she will be able to carry around their very own bucket of sunshine!!
