My deck used to be almost unusable, because that’s where we tossed our full trash bags.  After a day or two - sometimes, within minutes - the possums and raccoons caught scent of our garbage and descended on the deck like piranha, tearing those cheap white trash bags to pieces, feasting on the smelly garbage, and leaving the deck covered with shreds of white plastic and whatever  garbage even the animals didn’t want.  Sitting out on the deck, in the swing, became an ordeal.  Besides, we never felt that the deck was really clean or even safe, because of all those animals swarming over it in the night.  Sometimes, even in the day!

With EcoSmart’s Repellem trash bags, though,  I really feel that my deck is clean.  I still toss my filled trash bags out there in their own little corner at night, but in the morning, lo and behold, those bulging trash bags, still full of smelly goodness (if you’re a raccoon, that is) are intact.  Untouched.

We’re not a whacking household, but coming home from work every day to find cords unplugged and gnawed, and everything batted off the tops of all the surfaces was getting really old really fast. Computers are fragile and computers are expensive, and computers are just simply not a proper place for self-respecting cats to hang out.

I got home from the college really late tonight: far too late to begin my second outdoor experiment with Repell-em bags, but when I walked into the computer room and saw one of the cats happily pulling cords out of their sockets with a hungry look on her face, I decided to try something else.
