Christmas is over, and most of us have, by now, packed away our holiday decorations.  I hope you’ve made sure that insects and mice can’t get to your fragile, sentimental ornaments, etc.  We all cherish our holiday things, and if we open a box next year to discover that the mice and bugs have made a feast out of them, it would be devastating!  However, preventing this from happening is a lot easier than you might think.

I make sure that won’t happen by placing most of my precious holiday articles in Repellem trash bags before placing them in their boxes.  If something is too big for a trash bag, such as a large tree, I wad up several Repellem bags and put them in the box with the large item.

Things that lie packed away for a whole year stand a good chance of “invasion,” but a simple thing like packing them away with a Repellem bag can make all the difference in the world.

In fact, your whole house will be cleaner - and greener - if you tuck a little Repellem here and there, in closets, drawers, etc.  And when the house is cleaner, it’s also safer.

My husband is a math teacher, and in his classroom,  he likes the look of large houseplants.  Unfortunately, on Monday of this week - the first day back from Christmas break - he noticed that his large houseplants were infested with gnats.  The janitors told him that if he didn’t take care of that, he’d have to bring the plants home.

He took a Repellem trash bag to school yesterday, cut it into strips, and tied a strip loosely around the stems of each plant.  By the end of the day, there were no more gnats.

The Repellem strips drove the gnats away in a matter of a few hours.  The gnats were gone.  GONE.

I wasn’t surprised.  Remember, I used Repellem in the garden all summer, and I had not a single insect of any kind in there.  Repellem even kept the deer away!

If you’ve got houseplants, you’re going to get gnats.  Well, you’re going to get gnats UNLESS you tie a Repellem strip around each stem.  If you do that, you won’t get gnats.  Or any other kind of insect, either!  People who love African violets also love Repellem products!  People with ferns, or geraniums, or various ivies, all love Repellem products.  No matter what kind of plant you’ve got, Repellem can keep it safe from insects.  Your pets won’t use your houseplants as a salad bar if you’ve got Repellem on them, either.

Ordinarily, whenever a lot of food is spread out buffet-style, no matter how clean your home might be, there are going to be a few flies buzzing around that food.

However, if you put a Repellem tablecloth under your pretty holiday tablecloth, there will be no flies.  Your pets won’t bother the table, either; Repellem products live up to their name and REPEL all insects and animals!

I love to bake homemade bread and pies, so I buy flour in twenty-pound bags.  Few things annoy me more than opening that huge bag of flour and discovering. . . weevils.

But this season, even though weevils flourish in southern Indiana autumns, I haven’t noticed a single weevil in my flour, nor in my cornmeal, or cereals, or oatmeal, or anything else “powdery” and purchased in bulk.  That’s because my large bag of flour has a little piece of wadded-up Repell-em in it, and so do all of my other bags and boxes of things weevils love.

I don’t have to worry about Repell-em products harming my family or contaminating our food, because Repell-em is made of 100% natural ingredients that are completely and totally harmless to people, even to tiny babies!  And even though Repell-em products smell really good, their smell doesn’t “bleed into” any foods you are using the Repell-em in.
