If you have a travel trailer, try this: A fellow camper gave us a couple of these magnificent Garbage Bags. One, we used in the outdooe waste recepticle, the other, we opened up and placed under the non-skid mat that we place from just inside the door, down the three steps and onto the ground. Havinf part of the mat on the ground is often just asking for trouble, but I get tired of sweeping and mopping up the linoleum after dirty little sneakers track the great outdoors into my brand new travel trailer. The ants and other creepy-crawlies had been very busy, at the time, foraging for winter. We had tried every "home remedy" I'd ever heard; chalk lines around the perimeter of the camper and outdoor table, the same with powdered cleanser, but they don't always work. Crawly critters will find their way in if they want to badly enough - But not if a Repell'em product is between the ground and the surface they would come in on! I intend to talk my hubby into both the garbage bags and tablecloth after he sees once morre that it wasn't just coindidence. I also think a piece of the material tucked into a pocket or tucked into shoelaces might make evening walks more comfortable and could be reused as ties around the water and sewage hoses where they connect to the camper as a little extra security.
