All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

DSCF2129We plant our tomatoes in a railroad flat, and every year we fight Mother Nature and all her minions for the fruits of our labor. I’m not sure who gets more tomatoes: Bambi and his mother, or all the nasty little worms and insects that feast on the tomatoes and then devour the plants down to the roots.

As you can see, this year I’m fighting back. The cat (her name is Millicent) won’t go near the flat, and so far, neither Bambi nor his mother, nor any of their woodland friends have bothered the plants.

As you can see, each tomato cage has been wound with a strip of Repell-em, and between the scent, the ends waving in the breeze, and the large Repell-em piece acting as a scarecrow there on the end, I really believe we’re going to get some tomatoes for ourselves this year.

I don’t have to worry about “insect repellent” touching my food and contaminating it in any way, because Repell-em products are made of 100% natural ingredients and are completely harmless.

The cats were used to playing in that railroad flat all winter, and it’s really funny to watch them go running toward it and then stop short, look around with a bewildered expression, and then turn and walk away.

Here’s a closer shot of a few tomato cages, so you can see in greater detail what I’ve done with the strips of Repell-em. It’s nothing fancy, obviously, but so far it’s working like a charm!

There are so many uses for your Repell-em products. So far, every experiment I’ve done with them has been successful!
