I’ve lived in Alabama all my life and have never even made it out of the South when it comes to the extent of my travels. I doubt seriously I’ll ever make it to see the lights of Paris, to eat Chinese food in China, or to even see the Statue Of Liberty for that matter. I’m ok with this. I have no desire to travel and though I can understand the reasons behind it, I’m just as happy living my quiet southern existence without venturing too far out of my 5 state radius. This being said in another lifetime I may have been tempted to pack things up and move to a green country. One that understands the value of the land we live off of and takes steps to protect it instead of finding new ways to pollute it.
