All about the Repell-em garbage bags and tablecloths

DSCF2220Yesterday, my kids had a big Mentos Geyser/ bonfire/cookout in the back yard. It was going to rain at any second, all through the party, so they didn’t want to bother setting up the table. They also didn’t want to set the food on the bare deck floor because of the bugs.

Fortunately, I did have one Repell-em tablecloth still left from this summer of picnics and BBQ’s, so the kids folded it in half and spread it on the edge of the deck. They covered it with food and ate standing up. Or, in the case of Sara, sitting down!

Even though the air was sultry and humid, heavy with the rainstorm that was due any second, not one bug was found anywhere on the tablecloth or, by extension, on the food. Frustrated gnats and flies could be seen hovering a few feet over the tablecloth, but none touched down.

My family would simply not consider cooking or eating outside without a Repell-em product close at hand. If you use a Repell-em tablecloth, your food will be insect-free for the duration of your party, and I usually get at least three uses out of a single tablecloth. If you have a Repell-em trash bag outside for the disposables and garbage, you’ll not have a single insect crawling over your trash.

Sara, Nathen, Erin, and Monte can testify to that!

Oh, and by the way? They wiped off this tablecloth, let it dry, folded it, and we’re going to use it again next weekend. You just can’t DO that with most regular plastic picnic tablecloths; they’re far too flimsy. Repell-em tablecloths are thick and tough and they REALLY WORK!

It’s lovely to have a cookout and not have to worry about insects. It’s also nice not to have to sit around and smell the foul, strong odor of a typical spray insect repellent. Repell-em smells GOOD, and works better than any other insect repellent on the market today.

Oh, and the picture on this post?  It was part of the slideshow on my wireless picture frame five minutes after I took it.

Summer is so fleeting.  Have fun with it every chance you get!  The fewer bugs, the more fun.   The more fun, the more pictures you should be taking.
