I used to get weevils in the summertime, and I HATED that!  Opening a new bag of flour or cornmeal only to discover those nasty burrowing weevils practically made me SCREAM!

I used to scatter bay leaves in my pantry, but it made such a mess.  Also, the effect didn’t last very long, although it did work for a little while.

Now, I just put a few pieces of folded Repell-em bag on a few of the shelves in my pantry, set the cans right on top, shut the door, and forget about the weevils!

Roy Rogers and Dale Evans used to set the cannisters of flour and corn meal, etc, out on the patio and let the weevils burrow up and fly away, and then use the flour!

I’m sure that didn’t hurt them or their children, but I just don’t think I could do that.  I’d much rather prevent the bugs from moving into my staples in the first place!
